Here is why: What does "Bulls Board" or "Bears Board" in a Subject title mean? The moderators of Subjects with these designations have a free hand to ban members for posting content which is contrary to the Bull/Bear designation in the title. Frequently the banned users are referred to as "bashers" or "pumpers" but often they are simply posting hard questions or comments which run contrary to the desired theme. In order to accomodate the moderators and other users who wish to engage in limited discussion, we have provided these designations so as to advise readers of the board's investment perspective. Moderators of such designated boards can ban users for posting contrary content. As a result, these boards tend to be one-sided in their discussion of the stock in question. The individual board moderator ultimately makes that determination. Bans issued on these boards do not extend beyond the scope of each individual board.

donpat has wrecked the actual usefulness of the thread. It is not about the childish terms "bashers" vs. "pumpers", it is about information. When a thread eliminates information from its content, then it cannot be considered an investment site, it only becomes a place in the case of PLNI where losers in the stock hang out and post stupid positive comments in the hope of either making each other feel better about their stupid decision, or to hopefully suck in other naive investors so that they may dump their shares.
