But the story would not read as well if the attribution was to
"the man on the moon",

"news" is theoretically based on some documented FACT. Huge amounts of "news" these days consists of the parroting of government spin and NOTHING more. (now that's an OPINION)

Suspect? It had the earmarks of an al Qaeda attack - multiple explosions in different locations at about the same time.

Also, where do you think al Qaeda originated? Afghanistan. Where were the arms to the mujahadeen funneled through? Pakistan.

But, of course, the Pak guerillas fighters had no contact with al Qaeda.
