One of my agents wants to try and help her friend(F & B worker) that is a renter and owns 2 properties with 100% financing and the first balloon is due Oct. She has one fixer sitting empty with the kitchen torn apart and can barely cover the rented condo shortfall with all her extra cash. Smart sellers are starting to list and dump properties below what they paid a year ago here. Let the carnage begin.

Sounds like a great idea for a new reality show! Families in financial distress tell us on TV of the chain of bad decisions that led them to some current hopeless financial state, and we all get to feel smarter than them, or sympathize, depending on our own financial state! then, some financial advisers could suggest courses of action, emphasizing how screwed they were.
