This form of Islam is a curse on humanity and on our planet. The world must tackle it and eradicate it just as they did the disease of smallpox. These particular "religious" people spend their entire lives planning death and destruction. Tribalism at its worst , and these forms of hatred are taught in "schools" now still , that haven't changed for over several 1000 yrs going farther back to the zealot writers of the OT and this mythological tale of the tribes of the "sons of Abraham" <g We learn in most of the civilized world now (at least most of us) when just school children that the beginnings of what we call science can be attributed to the Greeks and much of the knowledge that they assembled was carried and communicated to Asia & Egypt into India and onwards even to China . But these kinds of ancient oriental mythologies were too strong and their embedded structures of rule by "enlightened tyranny" were not ready for the objective realistic , inquisitive and experimental free thought of the Greeks which was let go . If you compare the "science" of the Bible an oriental scripture drawn up as a rejection by the Maccabean "school" to the Greek influence ...with that say , of Aristotle , not to mention Aristarchus (275bce) who had known the earth was already a sphere in orbit traveling around the sun . Or Eratosthenes (250bc) that had calculated the circumference of the earth to 24,642 mis . Then there's Hiparchus a decade later that reckons the moons diameter and the distance to the earth . All just frivolous facts about the universe maybe , but just think how much real suffering , blood and burnings at the stake & torture might have been spared maybe , and people really "saved" had Justianian left the greek pagan schools open instead of burning them ? So we had to postpone the real genesis of humanity for another 1500 yrs ... not just of the growth of science but the growth of ourselves and civilization . (Of course civilization & modernization has had its drawbacks too <g) * One of the most interesting histories of what comes from rejecting science you do really see in Islam ...which may in the beginning had taken that classical legacy from the Greeks say for the first 500yrs, doing really well embracing it and preserving and even developing it especially in medical sciences . But then the general concensus changed and the Sunna which Mohammed declared would always be right cracked down . Just like our own brand of "creationists" they declared the Koran to be the Word of God & the only source of truth yada yada , and science evil for leading to doubt of the origin of the world & the Creator. We have the same kinds of zealout polygamists living now in rural communities down in Arizona and Utah . So from about 1100ace on you have Islamic science and medicine coming to a standstill and it went dead ...and with that Islam went--->dead . They are learning to embrace science again , but what a bazaar mixture it still is ....hopefully science will win in the end this i pray .
