TO, we've had this discussion before...

You know the importance of fundamental analysis versus technical analysis. I know you favor fundamental analysis more than I do.

Even if we look only at fundamental analysis based on the many stock metrics stocks in this sector trades above 1996 market bottom values.

Are stocks overvalued now based on that fact?

I don't know and I don't care.

At a true market bottom stocks are generally so oversold, so out of favor, outlooks are so poor and investors are so disgusted with them that no one wants to buy them.

But they simply stop selling.

You can pick almost any stock in the sector and make out like a bandit over the next year when you buy into that type of bottom.

I just don't think we have seen that type of bottom yet.
