There are definitely SOME on the street that don't care about apple computers. Those are Goldman and CSFB. Piper,Citi,Needham and JMP do. The pc business is mired in a cost cutting war so I think the analysts that are bearish on mac feel like there is no way mac can gain traction in this. Even IDC said apple would not gain share with the macbook (due to pricing).... however.... Apple's Macbook 13-inch — perhaps the hottest laptop right now and possibly on college campuses this fall abcnews.go.com
