Poker-gambling?-wash your mouth out with soap!!-lol

Poker is not a game of chance. There is no luck in poker at all. Give me 8 hours in a real 30/60 game and a novice player and I should beat him every day.

When I paid for part of my schooling playing low ball I went several years and never lost once in a "HOME GAME".

Low ball was easy though as pros know you either play a pat hand or only take one card. In home games people will draw 2 or 3 cards. The odds against them making a hand doing that are worse than the slots.

Once in a while I will play with some of the kids in town who like to test themselves against me. I play with one group of well educated guys one guy has a PHD in biological statistics, one math teacher and most of them have at least masters degrees. And they play real seriously.

The very first time they asked me to play they knew of me, but they did not know me. I was so drunk and stoned I could barely deal and within an hour I had a stack I oculd hardly play around.

One guy who was also drinking I busted so many times he got abusive and sort of insinuated I might be cheating-lol. Like I needed to cheat agaisnt him. The rest of the guys apologized for him and he and I ahve since becoem friends.

And they play so seriously-lol. But they are making a very serious mistake which I keep deliberating telling them about. None of them are aggressive enough and they let me do the raising.

So naturally I raise when I have a good hand-lol. They also drop when I apply any pressure. One would think they could figure it out, but so far they have not.

I usually have a beer when playing in home games to even things up and if it is small stakes I usually won't take their money. I will mess around and play every hand or raise in the blind, etc.

Mostly I just play on line these days.

"Because I like to think I can reduce the gambling aspect through research and thought."

Ahem... a consummation.. devoutedly to be wished.

Take my advice. Sell them all short. Statistically it is very safe. Losses are unlimited and pockets even at 50% margin must be deep.

-or- don't give a r-t's a-s what the quality is, just do 25 hours a day of company research into the track record and the new babies on the block and which brokers are behind em, hire a 40 year geo-promoter to do the dd and then.. short em all again!! no, just get warrants and PP's this time.

And don't miss my recos. ;) Even when I am asleep I happen to crank out the odd piece on Aurelian a few months before it goes ballistic.
