It's very bad manners to talk about people on other threads. No one should have to go to threads they find repellent in order to stop people talking about them. Obviously people have every right to be as rude as they want to be- but it IS very very rude. It would be less rude if it was at least in secret- but it's right out there where the person being talked about can see it. And then you blame the victim. The victim of this insulting activity should have to go to threads to confront the perpetrator. Yuck.
