I think it just means the horse has stripes. I've heard horses with a darker whithers and back called "zebra." Like any vernacular, I doubt there are any real definitions, like the difference between a horse with a blaze and bald.

How they're recorded has the main impact on MP3 quality. It's called "sampling rate." The more "samples" per second, the better the quality, but also the more storage space required. I guess with digital, you always give up something from an analog source.

The "Zebra Dun" song is about a cowboy coming into a cattle camp and being given a wild horse to ride.
