And BTW, I noticed in Victoria, that most of the Canadians we spoke to agreed with my thoughts exactly. They were horrified at 9-11, and also Madrid, and Bali, and London, and now, India. Please understand that the majority of Canadians are in this fight with you. We are suffering the deaths of our children in combat too. Our last Prime Minister; Jean (FRENCH LAWYER) Cretien was more concerned with his alliance to France that he was to Canada. He is, was and remains, a self centered crook who is still under investigation by the RCMP for many crimes that I dearly hope will see him put behind bars. As for the nasty old curmudgeon that seems to be harrassing you, just put him on ignore.

and you will see exactly what the real Americans in the Heartland think. What a crock! Americans able to think for themselves? Are you kidding? Americans, by and large, are a dumbed down lot -- dumbed down by their inadequate education system and by Bush and his Neocons. Many of them are unable or loath to read anything in depth and they all too readily and happily rely on sound bites for their news from a government-compliant media. What a joke! As for the Canucks you met in Victoria, they are probably paying lip service to win your patronage or just to make you feel at home or they were formerly Americans or folks who have relatives in the US and were much influenced by them. Never swallow anything strangers tell you, hook line and sinker! .
