I was thinking about the average small investor who opened an online account and played with the dot.com's then saw most of their profits go kablooey. Obviously some folks lost much more if they were more heavily involved in the market, myself included.

I would love to see a survey of how many people made up those losses and went on to new highs. I think many turned to real estate instead, LOL.
