Well so far zero percent of the Gitmo detainees have even been accused of promoting violence against the US (they haven't been charged with anything) Accused doesn't equal charged. Charged implies formal criminal charges. Imprisonment without charge and conviction is unAmerican. Its something every nation, except perhaps the most barbaric, does in time of war. The alternative to capturing enemy prisoners and detaining them isn't to give them all lengthy trials, its to shoot them on capture. Fortunately that isn't the normal American mode of operation.
