Steve, So the Arab nations aren't really concerned with the Palestinians. It's just an excuse that sounds better than the truth. Exactly. "Freedom for Palestine" is a great way to fool the masses, including "Hamas in Irvine." I am not sure you can dissect this issue from the issue of Israel occupying Arab land. They are very intertwined. At the same time, its no surprise that the other Arabs look down upon the Palestinians for a whole host of reasons that is historical in nature. What I have to wonder about is why you all work so hard to invalidate what upsets the Arabs? Their complaints are very reasonable and justified. They were screwed in a way that not one of you neocons would put up with for even a NY minute. Why would you find treatment that you consider unacceptable okay for someone else? And let me add........I find many things to fault the Arabs.......they repress their people in ways that disgust me. However, on this one issue most everything and everyone supports their position except for the US of A. That should speak volumes to you but again its another datapoint that neocons invalidate.
