Well KLP... I don't mean to argue the issue. I suppose quantum mechanics might suggest that your view is as viable as mine. <vbg> I just like to remember that whatever we call these folks we're shooting at... in the end we are more alike than unlike. True, it might make shooting at them a little harder. But history also says that one day we'll stop shooting each other and have to learn to get along. Knowing me... if I get too fired up with all the moral segregation involved... I suspect that I wouldn't be able to cope with the transition and give up the insanity of it all. If I can think of it as coming close to shooting my own children, I figure there's at least a chance I'll be able to repent and promise to be good after the fact. <ack> Hmmmm... I guess its a lot like the concept of "race." Once you buy into its amorphous distinctions to distinguish "self" from "other"... you tend to forget the overwhelming similarities and over play the differences. Our use of the concept of a G_d is likely similar. But that's just me... I tend to bear a hard core grudge. Just be glad they refused to accept my application for Manic Anti Christ.
