re: Do you see what's happening on the world stage? Amazing, isn't it. Increases my respect for all the Presidents that practiced realpolitik since WWII. Now come the neo's pushing us towards WWIII. I know. There was a time when American leaders were as rational as we are. Now they are like the Arabs or the N. Irish or Tamil Tigers....irrational zealots and ideologues who when they have the choice between negotiations and violence, opt for the violence. Over and over again its proven they make the wrong choice but that doesn't stop them from doing it the same way again and again. I don't think most people realize how vulnerable we really are right now. I know. Right now, we are in big danger of one of the players doing something over the top and that will be the end. Bush and Israel continue to underestimate the anger of the Arabs.........always a very big mistake. This week the Israelis had some mouth on the tube......she was incredibly obnoxious......repeating over and over again how innocent her people were......they had done nothing. Fortunately, the American interviewing her was not having any of it. I am tired of all of the neocons who believe killing is the only way.
