There is an interesting issue. You can't sue the President during his term in office - to protect him from millions of frivolous suits, unless the issue happened before he took office (see Clinton and Paula Jones).

I wonder if that applies to the VP and others in the executive branch. I don't think so. But I'm sure that is why there is a Constitutional lawyer on the team.
