what's the float? also, how tightly held is this stock, now?
I would expect these guys to want to enter into a partnership,. rather than a buyout. This assumption is based, rather simplistically, on the fact that these guys have switched careers to make a go of the 2004 mess. In other words, all the rough work has been done, now it is a matter of financing ops until they get closer to fda approval. I'm not suggesting that they will get approved, just that when they have been in the approval pipeline for a while, the company surely will appear more attractive than it is right now. Plus, with the development of the antifungal and so on, sort of stalled for lack of cash - they will get zero for that in a sale today. Better to sell 25% of the company and work at bringing at least one new product to the same stage (fda submission). then sell another 10%.....all imho!
question: I sense that this stock has behaved in a very controlled manner (= a good thing)this past week. Opinions?
