Please. Show me behavior that was any more "uncivil" than many, many others' behavior. Double standard. Why? Because the cheerleaders don't like bears.

There may be a small double standard, but what do you expect? You're dealing with people here, and people are far from perfect (in my experience). The bottom line is, if you were always civil, e.g. like eracer, you wouldn't have any problems posting whatever on topic stuff you wanted, be it H-bomb negative, wildly irrational, or seriously bombastically depressing (stock-wise). The problem, IMHO, is largely due to your aggressive/confrontational style, combined with a twisting-of-the-knife that is your current bear stance. Take away the uncivil style (for lack of better term) and you'd have no problem. Of course, you probably wouldn't have as much fun, but that's another topic.

Uncivil bulls get more leeway, sure. Nature of the beast. But the rules clearly don't talk about fairness being a requirement... ;-)

It's kind of like our political system. It sucks. But (sadly or otherwise) it's the best one on earth.

Hey, maybe we need more 'checks and balances' in the rules. Nah, who wants thread gridlock! <g>

Regards,

JJ
