Hi Brian ....

Thank you very much for sending me that information.

I'd like to get this out of the way only because I am
somewhat interested in *this stuff*.

(1) I am SLOW as in DUMB ... so hang tough when I just
don't get it.

(2) I won't pester you with questions.

(3) I'm an old fart and have discovered over time that
what seems hard to understand on a Monday is as clear
as [pick you noun] on a Friday.

(4) I do NOT want to mislead you. I do NOT create charts
or read charts on an ongoing basis. Nonetheless, I take
charts - depending on the chart - seriously.

(5) I am really a misplaced biotech investor who jumped
into mining (gold) awhile back simply because I really
don't think their is a true currency right now other
than gold. [Lets never discuss this]

(6) My investment strategy (which is really half-assed)
is to try to find stocks that I can stay in for at least
1 year due to the capital gains tax thingie(s). I have
invested this way for years.

Phew - glad thats over with.

Here is the chart:
321gold.com

It EXCLUDES 2006 data.

My only point is:

Please look at March.

Generalizing - within any 12 month period MARCH should be
the 2nd or 3rd lowest price month.

This years MARCH acted differently. Of the 7 months thus
far, MARCH is the 2nd HIGHEST month.

Way am I focused on something so TRITE?

Well - the 15/30 chart may (perhaps) reflect what I will
call historical TRINKET SALES esp. so for the last 15 years.

However, EFT's are here - and perhaps - going forward -
they will (over time) develop into their own kinda/sorta/
seasonality. Is that what happened this MARCH. Or was
it just a hedge-fund 1 night stand?

Just pretend - suppose ETF have changed things:

Would this change-over from TRINKET driven demand for gold
to an ETF [or pick your own words] demand IMPACT any
of the the information that you utilize to *see ahead*?

Based on your response to me - I think the answer is NO.

In closing, I very much appreciate your time and effort
in responding.

(I gotcha booked marked so I'll be lurking along)

regards,
John McCarthy
