Ted, What you call a lack of spine is what the rest of call diplomacy. I think you're confused. Mindmeld was talking about energy independence. What does "diplomacy" have to do with it? A lack of spine can have a broader meaning and usually is used when discussing conflict........one of the reasons you neocons love Bush so much is that he has shown you 'spine' in places like Iraq and Israel. So I extrapolated from what you said in that post and expanded it to include lack of spine's greater meaning. You're smart.......my post should not have confused you.
