But the metals and the mining stocks have often been quite disconnected. Even if Au and Ag spike that doesn't mean it'll move the miners much, particularly the juniors.

Boy, I am with you. This present conflict sort of reminds me of the showdown at the Ok corral. Both parties were spoiling for a fight.

What bothers me, that we do not speak of much is the human condition. Many guys like to fight. If the culture is primitive thye like real fights. If it is a bit more civilized they watch football and soccer-lol.

And remember public hangings. And the day fo the civil war at Monasses? there people out there with piknik baskets-lol.

Gingas (can't spell it) Kahn said how much he liked raiding a village killing the men, raping the women and stealing the money. The leader of that obscure country next to Pakistan said there was nothing better than killing your enemy and then taking their women to bed; the tribesmen of New Guinea say the night before a battle it is like christmas and they are so excited they cannot sleep.

We males sort of like war. Look at how we romantize the military.
