Shane, It depends on what info you need. Yahoo will supply quotes, news, charts and financial information for any stock listed on a foreign exchange. Free. That's where I get my data on the online poker sites, most of which are on The London or Stockholm Exchange.

The sites for the exchanges themselves often have a wealth of information. Some have none at all. But I would try them.

Most foreign companies have web sites in English. Even some very obscure cos.

A great source of ideas are the portfolios of well managed mutual funds in the foreign area. I regularly check out American Eagle Overseas, Aim Intl. small cap growth, etc. Templeton has a ton of them on their site. The fact that most are closed to new investors does not prevent them from updating their holdings.
