"Do you think that we should drill in ANWR?"

I have a true CONSERVATIVE position on ANWAR. I think we shoud conserve it, by leaving it in the ground. Oil's worth $70+/bbl today. In the future, it may be worth $200/bbl. Why not wait until we REALLY need it?

I have no doubt we'll tap it someday.

No, I don't think Clinton moved too quickly. It's better to wrongly release too soon from the reserve than to be stingy with it and to not help alleviate the serious financial harm to millions.

As far as drilling in ANWR, I think that is a short term solution to a long term problem. The long term problem is that we should be fueling our cars with something other than oil and gas. So drilling for more oil, does not solve that problem.
