What about during Bush Sr. and Clinton. Israel is the wild animal that needs to be tamed. Surely the lives of 3 Israeli military personnel is not that precious that innocent lives should be lost.

India (Mumbai) had simultaneous terrorist attacks on its trains. In spite of such a horrific act by the terrorists, I don't see the Indian Govt. run around like a wild bull similar to Israel. India has been successful in going after the terrorists in a very calm and calculated way, unlike Israel. Israel is like the spoilt child in a family; pampered by the US, especially Bush.

Bush Sr. was extremely successful in building the coalition he did during Desert Storm. His success was achieved through keeping Israel out of Desert Storm. Bush Sr. thumbed his nose at the American-Jewish lobby, choked off the Israeli military and thereby convinced Arab nations such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc. to provide military personnel to fight against the same Saddam that his son failed to gain support.

It is time we Americans force Bush's hands. His actions of the past 4 years has caused Hezbollah to send those rockets into Israel. If Bush stopped his cowboy approach ("..we want Osama dead or alive..."; "..Iran, Iraq and N. Korea are the axis of evil...."; "... the military option is not ruled out on Iran...") and instead got down to some really serious business, this country will turnaround. Other wise expect this country to be choked with higher oil prices, higher military casualties, lower stock market etc. etc.
