Can you see how ridiculous this type of question is? This is the kind of question you are posing wrt to buildings and terrorism. It's just not the way most people think. It doesn't matter what we'd "rather" have happen. We do our best to combat terrorism, and that's all we can do. Saying "I'd rather the French got blown up" doesn't help the fight against terrorism. It's merely an emotional expression of our prejudices- namely who we'd rather seen blown up. I can't see why you want people to express this, since it doesn't DO anything (except make the people expressing it look bad).

And even if you'd rather I was sick than Ann, I thank you for not saying it (or not saying it yet :-)
