'Looks Like Wall Street is smarter than I usually give them credit for being.'

And yet as late as April it seemed they were completely clueless to what was unfolding. Or were they manipulating so those on the inside could quietly exit and mess with early to the party shorts at the same time?

Now fund managers need to dump, much of the bad news finally is priced in, many margin calls taking out the weak, war on the horizon, record oil prices and a bunch of shorts came in late to the game pouncing on all these obvious facts. Expecting a lot of volatility in either direction. I've lost much faith in the stock market as a discounting mechanism. As much a scheme devised to screw the greatest amount of people in the shortest amount of time these days IMHO.
