You need to go back and READ. Even the Dubyettes, mostly urged on by Powell, were considering going back to the UN to get authorization TO ATTACK. They figured out that they would not get that authorization so they refused to GO BACK TO THE UN.

It was not an authorization to attack. They had all they they legally needed under 1441. The resolution in question only have re-affirmed that Iraq was not in compliance.

The only reason it was even proposed was because France and Russia were attempting to thwart having their illegal and secret dealings with Saddam's regime uncovered in the aftermath of his overthrow.

And even then.. had France and Russia not threatened a veto, it would have had sufficient votes to pass.

You're wrong and yet you're still shilling for the people who hate and spit on you.

What makes you possibly believe I'd ever "shill" for the likes of people like yourself??
