That's my issue, too; while I don't think that Israel is wrong for trying to recover its soldiers, the kidnapping of soldiers (who are fair game in war), doesn't justify the crippling of lives of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Arab civilians, and probably the death of dozens of them as well. Its interesting to read this post which was only seven days ago. Considerable more damage has been done. The Lebanese death toll is over 300 the last time I looked.
