It feeds on those instincts that we all noticed in those 13 year old bullies. The same elevation of the leader to unquestioned status. The same system of rewarding loyalty and only loyalty. The same feeling that the rules are only for the sheep. The same enforcement of a single belief system and anything that results in victory is fair.
