There may be an unlimited supply of Hezbollah sympathizers but there is not an unlimited supply of well-trained, competent Hezbollah leaders.

Hezbollah could not exist without sympathizers. Unless you can eliminate Hezbollah sympathizers, the problem is not going away.

As Karen would apply this to another situation, a military solution only gives short term comfort but makes the situation worse in the long term.
