I could construct a parallel test asking questions like this: ARE YOU AN AUTHORITARIAN LIBERAL? 1) Business owners should be let alone to run their own businesses as they see fit, agree or disagree? 2) People who earn a lot of money should be able to keep it and do whatever they want with it, agree or disagree? 3) People have the right to own guns, agree or disagree? 4) People have the right to smoke tobacco, agree or disagree? 5) Business owners have the right to allow the use of tobacco in their places of business, agree or disagree? 6) The government does not have the right to tell parents how to raise their children, e.g., sex education, medical treatment, agree or disagree? 7) Parents have the right to educate and discipline their children as they see fit, agree or disagree? 8) People have the right to drive any car they want, including Humvees and SUVs, agree or disagree? 9) Business owners have the right to exclude customers whom they dislike for subjective reasons, agree or disagree? 10) If a pharmacist or health care provider has moral objections to providing a drug or a medical procedure, they have the right to decline to provide the drug or the medical procedure, agree or disagree? 11) People have the right to use language which may be offensive to others, within the limits of libel and slander, agree or disagree? 12) The government does not have the right to seize private property for the use of other private persons or businesses, agree or disagree? 13) The government does not have the right to exclude legal business establishments on the basis of dislike for their business policies, agree or disagree? (My score is 0.5, I'm wishy-washy on #9).
