Robert > Did you read through the entire "offer" or did you just take terrorist's words at face value and assume that Hamas terrorists have good intentions in their hearts?

Yes, I read it and I took it at its face value. As regards terrorists, I remember when various Israeli Prime ministers were also terrorists, likewise Nelson Mandela, so I would not think that being known as a terrorist should preclude negotiations for peace.

> What do you feel is more believable, terrorist's actions or terrorist's words?

What choice is there when there are only terrorists to negotiate with?

> You have no idea what you are talking about. No idea, at all. Yet you continue to post meaningless, parroted nonsense

You are entitled to your opinion, as I am. And I have the experience of having lived in a country which has gone through a transition/transformation -- and I'm still alive to tell the tale.

> Appeasement of terrorists, thugs and despots has NEVER worked. If Israel is successful at driving Hezbollah out of Lebanon, and at destroying Hamas and driving Hamas, and the other terrorists out of Gaza, there might be a possibility for peace. It's not going to be easy, but when faced with Islamic terrorists whose ONLY goal is your extermination, you have no choice but to fight back.

Then Israel must fight forever -- and peace will continue to elude it. Israel has followed its present policy for over 50 years already and is no closer to peace now than when the State of Israel was created in 1948, in fact, it may be further away.

> Hiding under your bed won't make the deranged Islamic beasts go away.

I have never proposed that. I said that peace can only come through negotiation and that it is a myth to believe one can find peace through war.

> Nor will speaking with termites or fleas will make them go away.

Perhaps if we knew how we wouldn't have to kill them?
