While searching for something else, got diverted and found a couple of interesting sites...Global Warming and Global Cooling. The first is a good historical timetable, but what I thought was interesting was while they talk about about Global Warming dates, there are very few Global Cooling (1) until the 1900's.... and yet we know there were earlier Global Cooling dates as well over the vast numbers of centuries. I believe I've seen there was a last warming date of about the year 1000.... There certainly weren't lots of folks in cars then, nor heavy users of heat, other than fires, and I don't recall seeing lots of manufacturing done during that time either.

The 2nd link is interesting because of the Archived Newspapers. I may buy that service after I check out what's available...AND have time to read them as well...<gg
