I don't think this conspiracy thread should be dismissed out of hand. I think it serves an important role. Remember that in the 1970s all those state hospitals (a/k/a "looney bins") were suddenly shut down by activist judges. Hordes of delusional patients were dumped onto the nation's streets to become the "homeless." A thread like this one provides these paranoid loners with a home, sympatico companions, and a purpose in life. It is a harmless way to keep them off the streets, where they would otherwise wander, mumbling to themselves, and annoying citizens. I think it's a great idea. JC
