Real power in Iran rests with Khamenei et al, who are pragmatic religious conservatives, not with the extremists. Besides, much of what Ahmadinejad says is meant for local consumption. His ratings are just like Dumbya's - in the toilet. And just like Dumbya, he is desperate to make his ratings go up. Attacking Iran is a surefire way of ensuring that the extremists get into the driver's seat. But Dumbya is like a monkey with a hand grenade. Military option is the only thing he knows (though he chose not to exercise it himself when he had the choice of going to Vietnam).
