My own guess is that they will meet(or maybe even beat their own estimates) for the present quarter based on improved sales of computers. I also think that they will beat for the upcoming quarter based on sales of computers. The issue is will they beat analysts consensus numbers which are different from Apple's numbers. Apple's numbers have always been more conservative than the consensus numbers. I think we will hear about demand for the new laptops that will be way beyond what the company predicted. Difficult to say what will happen with the stock. Even if they beat consensus numbers but iPod sales fall off somewhat from what was predicted, since some think that all Apple is is an iPod maker, they may be selling. We will have to see how things play out. Neal
