No good options for Israel or us. Israel - Pal problem no longer a dispute over borders, land, separate states, road-map. Now everything is part of WOT. Iran nuclear ambitions, Iraq, Hezbollah agent, Syria, Hamas . So what does one do? Can not attack Iran. Too far, too big. But Syria is vulnerable. Hezbollah is vulnerable. Hamas is vulnerable. So I would escalate and destory the arms and legs even though the head/heart(Iran ) can not be reached. The US should support the action with all the logistical support and equipment it can. Israel becomes our agent and its own principle to destroy terrorists. I am talking about all out destruction of wherever they are and shipping the civilians out of places like Gaza, Southern Lebanon. Regime change in Syria. Isolation of Iran lines of communication and supply to its agents in Syria, Lebanon. A major war. We are perfectly positoned with our forces in Afgan , Iraq. We can prevent interference with Israel aand Israel has a free rein to wipe out the enemy etc. This is the only option I can think of. Otherwise you have a negotiated ceasefire eventually and a build up of terrorists, and logistics and we start over again. Better to do it now while we are already in Iraq and can support Israel and Iran does not have nukes and is weaker. JMHO. Rich
