Yes, the corn will help the gas burn better when mixed in, which is the idea behind E10. I wonder about the benefits if there is no gas there to "help". Anyone have any data on mileage and emissions a 100% ethanol powered vehicle would get... other than from the ethanol special interests, which have no credibility.

Suspect the automakers have developed at least a prototype where the fuel system is protected from the highly corrosive ethanol.

The problem with upping the compression is that the vehicle would no longer be able to run on gasoline or E10. Buy a bike and rack with the car or you'll be doing a lot of walking.
