How many power macs would you say apple sold prior to this quarter?

I'd be surprised if they sold any. Well, they probably sold some, but not any meaningful number.

Power Mac and Xserve have probably held up the best (to the extent any PPC systems are selling in 2006) as there is probably not huge demand for these yet since some substantial Pro Apps are still PPC only (i.e. Adobe apps not shipping until 2007.) Many pros doing web/print work live in these apps and single-processing emulation isn't going to cut it.
