By the way, as I quickly discovered after getting a MBP, anyone who has used a G5 machine and an intel based mac can tell you that either:

1. Their critical app is already Universal Binary (all of the Apple apps are now).
2. Their critical app runs fine in Windows and you get a windows version free with the mac version (most audio apps are this way).
3. It runs fine in windows but you need to buy a second license to get the windows version (e.g., photoshop and office)
4. It runs fine in Rosetta (better than their prior machine).

So I don't think not having UB applications will hold up PowerMac purchases. Windows is the new Classic mode. Run it in Bootcamp or in Parallels Desktop. Doesn't matter. One way or the other will be good enough.
