My view is they have went after Hezbollah. If they went after population centers as you describe, you'd have a whole lot more dead people would you not?

Removing Hezbollah's logistical support is unfortunate in that it will cause some collateral damage.

Attacking the Hezbollah camps, which are in southern Lebanon IIRC, rather than going after the population centers in central and northern Lebanon.


That's right. The actual sites from where the rockets originate that are attacking Israel. Instead, or rather in addition to those sites, Israel went after Beirut which is nearly reconstructed since its civil war ended over ten years ago. Its also destroying roads leading out of Lebanon and the airport which insures that tourists who were in Lebanon minding their own business can't get out.

Later, we will hear the Israelis complain: why was the world, esp. the West, not 100% behind us. Why indeed. Its crazy....absolutely crazy.
