"Desperate" may be a bit strong at this point in time.
But I have seen that many Zionists are worried.

A Zionist on another thread is very concerned that Israel would not be able to cope if Syria and Iran gang up on Israel. S/he also worries about the repercussions if Israel used its stockpile of nukes on the enemy.

It is interesting to note that the US no longer acts the tough guy these days but tends to favour use of diplomacy in the solution of problems.

" sense they are growing desperate as the world is catching up with the REAL story of Zionism in Palestine."

Len, you obviously can't see US coverage of the event. Numerous reports coming out of Israel showing tales of personal news and hysteria. Shots showing a building with the corner blown off with announcer giving the names of the residents of the apartment and comment that they could have been sitting at the table which you can see in the picture. Personal interviews of Israelis and films of rockets coming into Israel but not similar type reporting from Lebanon or Gaza. Liberal use of the words terrorism when talking about bombing in Lebanon.

I don't think the US is catching up one bit on the real story. I am waiting to hear in the same sentence the number of Israeli casualties and the number of Gaza and Lebonesse casualties.
