I can think of some histories whose ending was good for everybody else, and no doubt you can, too.

But if you're arguing that it's possible to achieve freedom and democracy without killing, or at least deposing, the bastards with their jackboots on the throats of the people, you're dreaming.

If it ever happened that the people achieved freedom without a revolution, I don't recall it.

Maybe someone can refresh my recollection.

Even Christ couldn't free people without dying for the cause.
