Israel and its people aren't going anywhere. But where are the Palestinians going to go? Maybe into the lands that the Israeli Army has been making Israelis give back to the Palestinians? Israel was pulling out of the Gaza strip before Hamas, the legitimate government of the Palestinians, attacked Israel. Many have been in squalid refugee camps for generations because the Israelis have all the power and the US refuses to apply the diplomatic pressure needed to have any sort of negotiated solution to allow them to have a viable state. The Palestinians have to stop the killing before they can negotiate. It is their only bargaining chip. If the Palestinians had spent all of the aid money they have wasted on guns on rebuilding Palestine, the place would be more like las vegas than los alamos. There have been moderate Palestinians, but they have fallen by the wayside because they have achieved nothing and it seems some like to go out with a bang rather than a whimper. Things can take baby steps towards peace or go to hell in a handbasket very quickly. And so have the moderate Israelis. The Israelis were trying to give them more land. The israelis will give them anything they can to get peace, the Palestinians only want blood. Canada now has many people who have the potential to become terrorists, which as you know I think was very unwise and short-sighted to have been allowed. More than ever, we need to show the world and our immigrants as well that Canadians are humane and reasonable people, such that any acts of terrorism against us will be vilified by the whole world, not excused in any slightest fashion by anyone due to us being foolish enough to support injustices elsewhere or become involved in them. We need to show our immigrants that if they bring their wars and hatred with them to Canada we will deport them back to wherever they came from. We need to show the world that we will do what is right, and not what is popular.
