Probably the two cars. Whatever the price, he paid too much for the Trabi. Other than that, he didn't get anything major. If so, he hides it very well. Again, two retired Gymnasium teachers live better. With better health insurance. Its really interesting to talk to my German friends who grew up in Western Germany. They think of the former East Germans as hicks. They don't even like their accent. And they feel the East Germans are lazy and unmotivated. Sound familiar? Humans are consistent if nothing else.
