Stephen, maybe you should go back to saying how brilliant it was that Iraq was invaded, and why Canada should have got involved in that wonderful piece of work. That is probably more defensible in a debate. These Hezbollah rockets seem like something out of the stone ages for all the damage they are doing -- which is where the Arab countries are in general compared to the Israeli army. This "poor little Israel, threatened by its neighbours" charade is pretty lame, as is the Chamberlain appeasement mantra. It is obvious who wants war and who is a threat to world peace.

I've cancelled my subscription to the National Post, because they have gone too far in brainwashing people into thinking that Israel's interests are Canada's interests. Now they have Harper thinking that he can get away with giving Israel the blank cheque politically that they get from the US. Israel should be facing the consequences of their belligerence, but instead they act with the protection of the US security council veto, the equivalent of the mythical "Russian veto" of olden days.
