It [post-reco] should be a 'feature' available at Level 20 and above, if you're going to implement it.

My view on the reco feature:

Let everyone have at it everywhere, except on moderated threads, where it should not exist.

Why? Because it makes no sense on threads where only moronic cheerleading is permitted, such as here:

Glad to hear you are considering it. As I said earlier, the feature has worked well on TMF, especially once they imposed a limit on the number of recs you can make per day (the number is high - something like 20).

Re allowing user levels < 20 to rec, I agree you should, but I think they should have a lower rec limit, just as there is a lower post limit for those accounts. Something like 2 or 3 recs a day, perhaps?
