That doesn't make us responsible for insuring their liberation.

This is a key difference between you and me. I don't need to be assigned the task to decide I would like to help someone. I see liberating the people of NK as a way to improve the world, and I don't think it should be done because it is my responsibility; rather, good people help those less well off than them, therefore in order to be a good person I would promote things which lead to the removal of Mr. Kim and his replacement with something akin to what is governing South Korea, where people have universal broadband, food in abundance, cool cell phones, great health care and a pretty good soccer team.

Yes, that is a key difference between you and I. I would not presume to step into the middle of a country and decide its future for it. Not only is it arrogant and presumptive to do so but it interferes with the country's destiny and the process it needs to follow to get there. In nation building, there are no shortcuts......as Mr. Bush is finding out.

And I am not so sure the American concept of the great life is the best one for every culture, or even the best one period. I know, I know.......for you and harris, I am speaking heresy.
