re another project.

Lovely Bride says that I still have too many and I cannot embark on any other journey until these are finished:

1. Replacing lower outer door skins on the truck. Mine are rusting through. Body work along rest of lower part of truck to repair rust. Prime and paint lower portion of truck. Invested so far $120 for replacement panels. Time of ownership of panels, 6 months.

2. 8 ball deluxe pinball machine purchased to restore as project. Not started but $1k spent on machine and various parts for it. No more games until this one is working. Time of ownership, 8 months.

3. I made a vintage style baseball game for the boys last Christmas. I did not get it finished. It must be finished by this Christmas. Still need to get the pitching arm installed and the players on the field. Time of ownership, 9 months.

4. Our pool house has lost a door. This needs repaired, however I prefer to tear it down and rebuild it larger. This is a weekend project with my brothers who are journeymen carpenters, I hope. Otherwise it will be me, alone for two months. Time since broke, 10 months.

These are the major pending projects. Notice day to day stuff is not covered, nor is dragster maintenance etc.

I am going to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area for 8 days. We leave Sat Morn at 7 am and return the following Sunday by 5 pm. Taking the older boy and 6 other scouts and 5 other dads. We are putting in at Fall Lake and hope to end up in Moose Lake. However, if our compass reading skills are off, we may end up anywhere! Approx 40 mile canoe float over 5 days. We paddle til 1 or 2, find a spot to camp, make camp, then swim or fish until dark, then bed. This is remote and roughing it. We carry all we use in AND out. There are several lakes and we carry all our stuff and the canoes in between the lakes.

As far as the estate sale stuff, I think you have a good idea of my interests and what I would be buying that requires a permit to purchase with a 7 day waiting period.
