Well, college is another story...as was my stint at a local newspaper doing the "As Teens Tell It" column (and those long boring proof reading sessions during my part time job on Saturdays at the paper) back in the day.

I guess, to me, this is freedom; freedom from failing grades & criticism (should one's creativity & opinions really be graded on spelling??? Excitment be stiffled over proper English?), freedom from judgement, freedom from embarassing mispellings in the society column <gg>, freedom from a none too pleased editor, freedom from the nit picky acceptable and good behavior that pleases society but sometimes goes against our own grain, freedom from giving a flip what anybody thinks, says or believes. :)

Besides, iffin ya can't type like ya talk, how are folks gonna get to "know" you; your accents, your quirks, your personality...or your "assumed alias"? <gg>

Note: If SI spell checker would give correct spellings, I'd be much more likely to pay attention to it. Heck, if I knew how to properly spell a word (or cared to), I'da spelled it right in the first place. ;)

I'm thinking that there are a lot of "Jerry Clowers', Garrison Keelers', Ray Stephens' <g>, etc" sitting in the wrong jobs because of teachers and professors who insisted on everything being "proper". Heck, perhaps even a few "E's"...who knows?

Anyway...krambling on this morning with nothing of import to kramble about...so what else is new? LOL!

Hey, have a GRAND day...and tighten up on those "plaindromes". <wink>
